U.S.Flag   Services for James Marshall Murray, 52 of Abilene were held Mon. Dec. 26, 1994 in the First Baptist Church. Rev. Milton Poindexter, Pineland and Rev. Genoa Goad, pastor in Spur officiated. Burial was in Spur Memorial Cemetery under direction of Campbell Funeral Home.

Murray died Dec. 23 1994 at his home in Abilene. Death was ruled due to natural causes. He was born in Spur July 14, 1942. He married Lynete Hubbard in Abilene on Aug. 30, 198. A Vietnam Veteran, he retired from the Air Force after serving 20 years. He was a graduate of Spur High School, Class of 1960 and a member of VFW. The last 10 years he had worked at Dyess Air Base in Abilene. Murray was a WS 14 with the Civil Service for the 7th transportation Squadron. He was a Baptist.

Surviving along with his wife are two sons; Mark Babilon, Robins, AFB, GA; and Krit Murray, San Angelo; three daughters: Dawn McNiece, Andrews AFB, Jamie Faye Murray and Sherry M. Lowe, both of Abilene; two brothers, Dennis Murray, Austin and Raymond Fielding Crockett; two sisters Barbara Poindexter Pineland and Clarice Hampton, Pittsburg, TX; his mother Faye Murray, Spur and several nieces and nephews.
