Longtime Spur Resident Dies

Funeral services for Mrs. Frances Elizabeth Murray, 75, who died at 2:10 p.m. Monday in Spur Memorial Hospital following a lengthy illness, were held Wednesday afternoon at 2:30 p.m. in the Bethel Baptist Church. Rev. J.E. Lee officiated assisted by Rev. Dock Love.

Burial was in Spur Cemetery Hammond Funeral Home directing.

Mrs. Murray, a native of Limestone County, had been a resident of Spur for 24 years.

She is survived by her husband, J.M. Murray, Spur; 6 sons W.C. Herman, J.W., George, Cleo and Virgil of Lubbock; 2 daughters, Jewel Oxford, LA and Virgie Simmons, Red Oak, a brother ?.A.Cox, Buffalo, sister, Mrs. ?.F. Murray, Channelview, 15 grandchildren and 5 greats.
