Services for Minnie Alma Morrow, 66, Spur, were held October 19, at 2 p.m. in the Bethel Baptist Church with Rev. Rylan Millett, Lubbock, officiating, assisted by Rev. Melvin Owens, pastor of the Temple Baptist Church, Spur.

Mrs. Morrow died about 9:20 a.m. on October 17, at her home. Death was due to natural causes according to Justice of the Peace, Woodie McArthur. Born in Spur on April 13, 1921, she had resided in Dickens County most of her life. She was a homemaker and a member of the Assembly of God Church.

She married Rev. Melvin Ray Morrow on December 6, 1938 in Dickens. He died on February 26, 1978. One daughter, Melva Joyce Patterson, preceded her in death on November 6, 1977.

Survivors include a son, Morris John Morrow, Ruidosa, NM and two daughters, Minnie Lee Stoneman, Spur and Mary Helen Pickett, Lubbock; two sisters, Flora Mae Smith, Spur; Dorothy Brown, Lubbock and Lillie V. Kerr, Big Spring; nine grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

Pallbearers included Ted Smith, Alvis Bilberry, David Taylor, Mike Adcock, R.D. Wright and Darrell Thomason.

Burial was in Spur Memorial Cemetery under direction of Campbell Funeral Home, Spur.
