Funeral services were held for Mrs. Josie Bell Morrow at the First Methodist Church, September 12 at 4 p.m. with Rev. R.D. Hill, Lamesa, officiating.

Mrs. Morrow was born in Rip-(microfilm bad)……married to(microfilm bad) On March 10, 1889 (microfilm bad) were born thirteen children of which eight survive.

Mrs. Morrow, a Spur resident for 23 years, came to Spur in 1924 with her family and had been residing with her daughter, Mrs. Josie Medford of Lamesa, for two years prior to her death.

She is survived by eight children: Mrs. Florence Wann, Bryan; Mrs. Gladys Sanders, Duncan, Okla.; Mrs. Josie Medford, Lamesa; Clyde Morrow, Thurman Morrow, Mrs. Ida Robinson and Ray Morrow, all of Spur. Also surviving are 19 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, two brother and sisters, Jim Owens, Spur; John Owens, Hawley; and Mrs. Alice Pope, Marlow.

Campbells Funeral Home was in charge.

Interment was in Spur Cemetery.
