Luther Morrison Died Thursday in Amarillo and Will be Buried in Spur FridayLuther Morrison, nineteen years of age and son of J.B. Morrison died Thursday at noon in a hospital at Amarillo to which place he had been moved from Borger where he had been employed in oil field work.
Luther had been suffering of pneumonia, and when his illness became critical the information was sent to his parents. His father, Bud Morrison, was in Fort Worth at the time with a shipment of cattle, going direct from Fort Worth to Amarillo. His mother, Mrs. Josie Morrison was in San Antonio and came immediately from that point in an airplane.
While funeral arrangements are not known, it is presumed that interment will be in Spur Cemetery Friday evening, since the body is being returned here.
Luther was born and reared in Dickens and Kent counties, and his boy friends and associates will mourn with the family in his death.
