Services Held For George Morgan

Funeral services were conducted for George Robert Morgan Saturday, Dec. 20 at 6 p.m. at the Spur Methodist church.

Morgan died Friday, Dec. 19 in the Nichols hospital about 2 hours after being hi by an automobile. Morgan was born Dec. 8, 1879 in Alexander County, ILL. He moved to Dickens County from Brownfield in 1943.

Rev. Cal C. Wright officiated. Pallbearers were George Austin, Allen Gatlin, Cleo Murray, Wallace Day, A. R. Howe and Lon Russ.

Survivors include his wife, a daughter, Mrs. Juanita Murray of Spur, and a son, Robert of Brownfield.

Interment was in Spur cemetery with Campbell´s Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
