Funeral services for Burlan Wilmer Morgan, 57, were held at 4 p.m. May 30 in Campbell's Funeral Chapel with Gary Williams, minister of the Spur Church of Christ officiating.

Mr. Morgan, a grocery store employee, died May 28 in a Wichita Falls hospital.

Born in Dickens County in 1910, Mr. Morgan had been a resident of Wichita Falls since 1930.

He is survived by four sisters, Liola Morgan of Angleton; Bernice Mayfield, Bakersfield, CA; Kathryne Handley, Carlsbad, NM; and Jean Westfall, Spur; two brothers, C.E. Morgan, Lubbock; and R.M. Morgan, Watford City, ND.

Interment was in Spur cemetery.
