Mike Moore

Mike Moore Michael Arthur Moore Sr. went to the Lord suddenly and unexpectedly on November 18, 2013. He was born September 10, 1955 to Jack M. and Dorothy Moore (nee Wood) He was a Vietnam Era Veteran, serving in the United States Navy on board the nuclear submarine USS Daniel Webster (SSBN-626) as a Nuclear Qualified Electrician. He was an adventurous spirit, traveling from one side of the United States to the other and everywhere in between over the last 30 years. There was nothing he liked better than to see new places and experience new things.

He leaves behind his children Eva Marie Boucher (spouse Russell Boucher), Jennifer E. Moore, Michael A. Moore Jr., Clara M. Moore, Katie J. Moore, his grandson, Nathaneal R. Moore- Washington his brother David J. Moore (spouse Elizabeth Moore), nephew Jim Moore, niece Dorothy Moore, his sister Elaine Baker, nephew Randy Spraberry , niece Stephanie Long, grandniece Ashton Long and the many numerous friends he made on his journeys.

His time with us here was too short, but having faith in God includes having faith in His timing. We will all be together again in God�s time.

Graveside services will be held Tuesday, November 26, 2013 at Spur Memorial Cemetery at 2pm in Spur, TX. A reception will be held immediately following services at First United Methodist Church in Spur, TX.
