Obituary

Services for Nadine Moore, 64, of Spur will be Thursday, May 6, 1999 at 3:00 p.m. at Community Bible Chapel. Dr. Ned Hicks will officiate. Burial will be in the Spur Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Campbell Funeral Home of Spur.

Mrs. Moore died Saturday, May 1, 1999 at Crosbyton Hospital. She was born June 24, 1934 in Dickens County. She married John Moore on November 21, 1953 in Spur. She was a homemaker. She was a charter member of Community Bible Chapel and was an instructor in the churches Bible Correspondence School. She had 121 active students that she was teaching at the time of her death.

Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Teresa Kruttlin, Miami, Florida; Paula Parks, Shelby, Montana; one brother, S.D. Jackson, Sunray; two sisters, Nettie Sue Powell, Amarillo and Sharen Robinette, Irving; and one grandson, Mark Parks, Garland.

SPUR (Special) Services for John Irvin Moore, 67, of Crosbyton and formerly of Spur will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Spur Cemetery with the Rev. Tommy Henderson, pastor of Spur First Baptist Church, officiating.

Burial will be in Spur under the direction of Adams Funeral Home of Crosbyton.

He died Thursday, June 15, 2000, at Crosbyton Clinic Hospital.

He was born Jan. 4, 1933, in Spur. He married Nadine Jackson in Spur. She died May 1, 1999. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He lived most of his life in Spur.

Survivors include two daughters, Paula Dean Park of Shelby, Mont., and Teresa Kruttlin of Dania, Fla.; an adopted daughter, Sharen Robinette of Irving; two brothers, Roy of Lubbock and Hilton of Spur; three sister, Hazel Elliott of Idalou, and Sur Romingo and Shirley Lingerfelt, both of Buchanan Dam; a grandson; and a great-grandchild.
