Funeral Rites Held For Robert Money Today At Baptist ChurchFuneral services are being held today at 2 p.m. in the First Baptist church for Robert David Money who died Wednesday Feb. 27.
The Rev. T. B. Allen will officiate assisted by Lee Hollis of Girard.
Interment is to be in the Spur cemetery with Chandler Funeral home in charge of arrangement.
Money was born Dec. 7, 1880, and came to Dickens in 1931.
On April 4, 1931 he married the former Beulah May Garvin in Henrietta, OK.
In 1932 he was converted to the Christian religion and joined the Baptist Church.
Money was a retired farmer.
He is survived by his wife, two sons, Garvin and Holman of Berkley, CA and Ross G. Holman of San Antonio; three daughters: Lula May Holman and Mary Bronson of Spur; Corine Foley of Kansas City, MO; four sisters: Ida Everett of Dublin; Alice Schill of Ft. Worth; Susie Gersecke, Stephenville; and Ozalea Smith of Black, TX; and five grandchildren.
Honorary pallbearers were Ophie Beadle, George Sloan, Bob Hahn, Raleigh Beavers, Newt Kidd and Layce Teague.
