Obituary

Funeral services for Ola Miller, 83, a retired farmer, were held Sunday, May 30 at 3 p.m. in the First Baptist Church with church pastor, Rev. Norris Taylor, officiating.

Mr. Miller died May 30 in the Crosbyton Hospital. Born in Indian Territory in [Dec. 6] 1897, he married the former Delia Kidd in October of 1924. He had lived in Dickens County most of his life.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Delia Miller, Spur; a daughter, Betty Lehew, Spur; two grandchildren, and one great grandchild.

Burial was in Spur Cemetery.

Funeral services for Delia Elizabeth Miller, 79 were held Sunday afternoon at 2:30 in the First Baptist Church, Rev. Darwin Cox, officiating.

Mrs. Miller died about 10:50 a.m. Friday, Sept. 14 in the Spur Care Center. Born Delia Elizabeth Kidd, in Kent County on July 9, 1905, she married Ola Miller on October 16, 1924 in Spur. He died on May 30, 1981.

A homemaker, she had lived here since 1916. She was a member of the Baptist Church.

Survivors include one daughter, Betty Lehew, Spur; one brother, Joe Kidd, Dickens; three sisters, Zelma Armstrong, Lubbock; Atha Spraberry, Crosbyton and Vivian Slaton, Abilene; two grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
