Maude showed a remarkable talent for the piano from a young age. She studied under the renowned Broadway composer, David Guion, while attending North Dallas High School. For many years, Maude offered her talents to others by playing for churches in Crosbyton, Spur, and Ingram, as well as teaching a host of students in a number of cities. Her impressive musical gift was a gift given by the Lord, not only to her, but to all who were given the privilege of hearing her play.
