Services for Nadine McNeece, 78, Spur, were at 2 p.m. Monday, Ocober 19, 1992 in the Highway 70 Church of Christ with Ernie Bishop, minister, officiating.Burial was in Spur Memorial Cemetery with Campbell Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. McNeece died October 16 in St. Mary of the Plains Hospital following a lengthy illness. She was born in Bells, TX and had lived in Spur since 1951. She married Carl McNeece on June 16, 1934 in Southland. She was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Christ.
She is survived by two sons, Mike McNeece, Broken Bow, OK; Aaron McNeece, Tallahassee, FL; two brothers, Ray Childress of Abernathy; Joe Childress, Longview; two sisters, Bonnie Strand, Dallas and Betty Burkes, Slaton; nine grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Services for Carl A.McNeece, 82, of Spur, were at 2 p.m. April 22, 1995, in the Campbell Funeral Home Chapel. Joe Gregory, of Post, officiated.Burial was in Spur Memorial Cemetery with Campbell Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mr. McNeece died at 4:50 a.m. in St. Mary Hospital, Lubbock. He was born in Randelett, OK and married Nadine Childress in Southland on June 16, 1934. She preceded him in death on October 16, 1992.
He was a retired oilfield worker and attended the Church of Christ.
Survivors include two sons, Donald Mike McNeece, of Broken Bow, Oklahoma and Carl Aaron McNeece of Tallahassee, Florida; one sister, Edna Smith, New Weaverly, TX; six grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Nig Wyatt, Bennie Robertson, Vance Boling, Gary Rainblt, Ronnie White and Gwyn Long.
