R.C. McMahan, 63, died in Spur the morning of February 5. Mr. McMahan lived in Spur for 28 years and recently moved to near Lubbock.

Funeral services were held at the First Baptist Church, Spur, at 4 p.m., February 6, 1950. Rev. Burnam officiated, assisted by C. Melvin Ratheal.

Interment was in Spur cemetery.

He is survived by his widow, two sons, and three daughters. He was a brother of Coy McMahan of Spur.
