McGuirt

H.M. McGuirt died Saturday morning at 4 o'clock and the remains were interred Sunday in the Spur cemetery, a large number of friends being present to pay the last tribute to the deceased. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Berryman at the family home.

H.M. McGuirt conducted a tailoring business in Spur during the past year and during the time made many friends in both business and social circles, and his death at this time was unexpected, he having suffered only two or three days of locked bowels. An operation was performed but was too late to be of benefit.

He leaves a wife and one child and other relatives to whom we extend sincere condolence in this bereavement.

Mr. McGuirt was only 28 years of age and his death is another evidence of the uncertainty of life. Yesterday he was enjoying health and the associations of life, little thinking with the morrow a summons would come from the unknown beyond, and whatever that future may be the wise man will be prepared to meet the end and so live that the future will be of the brightest.
