Funeral services were held Dec. 12 for Mrs. Katie Lee McClanahan in the First Baptist Church with Rev. L. R. Pendley officiating.

She was born April, 1903 and died Dec. 11. She married Preston McClanahan in Hugo, Okla. in 1920.

Pallbearers were Bob Westerman, Jimmie Hahn, J.D. Hopkins, Roy Arrington, Buck Carlisle, and Marion Jordon.

Interment was in the Spur Cemetery.

She is survived by her husband, four sons, J. D. of Borger, Kenneth of Spur, Lewis of Dallas and Earnest of Dallas; two brothers, Burl and Dan Perry of Fort Dawson, and her father Jess Perry of Borger. Also three grandchildren.

Chandler Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Funeral services for Preston McClanahan, 80, were held Monday at 2 p.m. in the First Baptist Church. Rev. Norris Taylor officiating.

Mr. McClanahan, a retired grocer, died at the University Convalescent Center in Lubbock on Feb. 8. He had been a resident of Dickens County since 1925 and was a member of the Baptist Church.

Survivors include four sons: J.D., Spur; Earnest, Kenneth and Lewis all of Lubbock; two brothers, Abb McClanahan, Lubbock, and Jim McClanahan, El Paso; eight grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Pallbearers included Marion Jordan, Raymond Bailey, Jim Wyatt, Bill Wyatt, Roy Arrington and Lee Parker.

Burial was in the Spur Cemetery.
