Funeral Services will be held this afternoon at 3 a.m. at the First Methodist Church for Verba Ruth McCarty, 11 year old daughter of Mr. And Mrs. L.M. McCarty who died at their home in Spur Wednesday morning after an illness of several years.

Rev. Raymond Van Zandt, pastor of First Methodist Church will officiate.

Verba Ruth was born November 18, 1935 in Spur and has lived here all her life.

Surviving are her parents and one sister, Ula Mae McCarty, all of Spur.

Arrangements are in charge of Campbell Funeral Home and interment will be in Spur cemetery.
