Funeral services were held in the First Methodist Church Monday at 10 a.m. for Darren Charles Mason, one year and nine month old son of John Mason of Lubbock and Nancy Mason, also of Lubbock.

Rev. Clarence Stephens, Methodist pastor, officiated.

The child came in contact with an electrical charge from an air conditioner and apparently drowned in a puddle of water.

Survivors beside the parents are grandparents, Mr. And Mrs. Charlie Baker, Lubbock and Mr. And Mrs. O.H. Mason, Kentucky; great grandfather, Babe Berry, Spur and Great grandparents, Mr. And Mrs. Andrew Green, Spur.

Interment was in the Spur Cemetery.
