Obituary

Graveside services for Paul Martin, 84, of Spur were held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, March 22, 2003 at Spur Memorial Cemetrey with the Rev. Sandy Sandlin officiating. Burial was under the direction of Campbell Funeral Home. He died Thursday, March 20, 2003.

Mr. Martin was born December 19, 1918 in Riverton, Nebraska to Arthur George and Hettie Pegg Martin. Mr. Martin married Marjarene Boothe January 5, 1943 in Abilene. They moved to Dickens county in 1946. He was a retired rancher.

Mr. Martin was preceded in death by three sisters and five brothers.

He is survived by his wife, and two brothers, Gerald Martin of Simpson, Kansas, and Vernon Martin of Red Cloud, Nebraska.

The family requests memorials be made to the American Heart Association, 4630 50th Street, Lubbock, TX 79414.

Marjarene Martin, 90 passed away September 13, 2011 in Aspermont, Texas. She was born May 8, 1921 in Gilpin, Texas to Orville and Carrie Smith Boothe. Margarene married Paul Martin on January 5, 1943 in Abilene.

Marjarene and husband Paul has spent approximately 70 years in the Dickens County area farming there land.

Marjarene was preceded in death by her husband Paul Martin and her parents Orville and Carrie Boothe.

Graveside services will be held on Friday September 16, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at the Spur Memorial Cemetery in Spur, Texas with Tommy Henderson officiating under the direction of Campbell Funeral Home of Spur, Texas.
