SPUR (Special) - Rites are slated at 2 p.m. today in the First Baptist Church here for Early B. Long, 91, a retired ginner and cotton buyer who died Friday in a Crosbyton rest home.

The Rev. William McReynolds pastor of the First Methodist Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Spur Cemetery under direction of Campbell Funeral Home.

Long died at 11 p.m. Friday following a lengthy illness. He had been a resident of Spur since 1932 and a resident of Ralls before moving here.

Survivors include a brother, Henry E., Abilene; a sister, Mrs. Dimmie Tinnin, Ralls; several nieces and nephews and three grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Floyd Faubus, Lloyd Roberson, Neal Chastain, Jerry Ensey, Rex Holder and M. C. Hurst.
