Funeral services were held December 27 at 10 a.m. in the Bethel Baptist Church for Grace Bell (Boykin) Lidia, 76. Rev. Charles Galloup, church pastor, officiated.

Mrs. Lidia died December 24 about 11:50 a.m. in the Lakeside Care Center in Lubbock following a lengthy illness. A seamstress and homemaker, she had lived in Dickens County most of her life.

Born January 23, 1903 in Mineral Wells, she married Sterling Ray "Dick" Boykin on November 27, 1927 in Seagraves. He died on September 16, 1950 and she then married Audie Lidia on December 26, 1956 in New mexico. He died on June 9, 1980.

She was a member of the Bethel Baptist Church.

Survivors include one son, Joe Ray Boykin, Pasadena; three daughters, Dorothy Thomason, Spur; Billie Frayer, San Antonio; Patsy Frye, Hamma, CA; two brothers, J.C. Allen, Carlsbad, NM and George T. Allen, Tucson, AZ; two sisters, Clifford Bynum, Commerce and Berry Martin, Fort Worth; eight grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren.

Burial was in Spur Memorial Cemetery with Campbell Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

They farmed at Spur until Dick´s death in 1950. Grace moved to Lubbock in 1951 and married Audie LIDIA in December of 1956. She was living in Spur at the time of her death.
