Funeral services for Audie A. (Dock) Lidia, 79, will be held at the Bethel Baptist Church June 14 at 2:30 p.m.. Rev. Norris Taylor, pastor of the First Baptist Church will officiate.
Born September 12, 1900, he married Grace Allen Boykin in December 1956. He died June 9th a the Veterans Hospital in Temple following a lengthy illness.
He is survived by his wife, four step children; Joe Boykin, Houston; Billie Frayer, Waco; Patsy Frye, Houma, LA; Dorothy Thomason, Spur; eight grandchildren; three great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will include: Dwayne Hudson, Alvis Bilberry, Elmer Wright, Jimmy Pickens, Robert Hahn, Harry Martin, Joe Powell and Vernon Wright.
Burial in Spur Cemetery.
