Memory of Jack Lewis
Last Friday morning, January 25, at 4:16 o'clock, the death angel visited Mr. and Mrs. Lewis' home and took from them their precious son Jack. He was laid to rest in Spur Cemetery at 3:00 Friday afternoon.
A precious one from us has gone,
A voice we loved is stilled;
A place is vacant in our home
Which never can be filled.
God in His wisdom has recalled
The boon His love had given,
And thought the body slumbers here,
The soul is safe in heaven.
