Services for Catherine Lynn Lea 16, were Friday, March 24 in the First Baptist Church, Spur, with Rev. Gerald Albers, Jayton Baptist pastor and Dr. Genoa Goad, Spur Baptist pastor, officiating.

Burial was in Spur Memorial Cemetery under direction of Campbell Funeral Home.

Miss Lea died March 20, 1989 in Wilford Hall Medical Center, San Antonio following a lengthy illness. She was born in Moore, Oklahoma on February 5, 1973. She had been a resident of San Antonio for the past two years and was a student at John Jay High School, San Antonio and a member of the ROTC.

Survivors include her parents, Mr. And Mrs. Kenny Lea, Jr., San Antonio; paternal grandparents, Mr. And Mrs. Kenneth Lea, Weatherford and Ronnie Clifton, Spur; maternal grandparents, Margaret Martz, Damascus, Maryland and paternal great-grandmother, Vada Norris, Spur.

Pallbearers include Woody Woodward, Thomas Pierce, Kenny Carlisle, Darrell Clifton, Edwin Long and Jerry Don Butler.
