Donalita Lane PhotoFuneral services for Donalita Scott Cannon Lane, 84, formerly of Spur will be 10 a.m. Friday, July 23, 2004, at the First Christian Church in Spur with Jack Alexander officiating. Burial will be in the Spur Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Campbell Funeral Home of Spur. She died Thursday, July 15, 2004, in Morrilton, Ark. She was the last surviving child of Boney and Maude (McArthur) Scott.

She was born May 3, 1920 in Spur, where she attended school until the family moved to their farm in the Kalgary community. She graduated from Crosbyton High School in 1938. She became a member of the Church of Christ as a young girl. She had been a resident of the Brookridge Nursing Home in Morrilton for many years. Her husband, Robert Lane, preceded her in death in 1967.

She is survived by her only child, Leanora Cannon Houwen of Dickens; three grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the North County Dickens Senior Citizens Center or the charity of your choice.
