Funeral services were held Sept. 30 at 10 a.m. in the First Baptist Church for Arthur Lem King, 86, retired farmer. Rev. Norris Taylor officiated.Mr. King died Sept. 28 in M-D Nursing Home, Spur. He had been a resident of Spur since 1909. He was a member of the Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Nora King, Spur; two sisters, Mrs. Annie Hurst, Muleshoe; and Mrs. E.J. Herron, Dallas, and a number of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers included Charles Sonnamaker, Jerry Ensey, Bud Britton, Lloyd Hindman, Wilburn Ball and Claude Barclay.
Interment was in the Spur cemetery.
