Funeral services were held Sept. 30 at 10 a.m. in the First Baptist Church for Arthur Lem King, 86, retired farmer. Rev. Norris Taylor officiated.

Mr. King died Sept. 28 in M-D Nursing Home, Spur. He had been a resident of Spur since 1909. He was a member of the Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Nora King, Spur; two sisters, Mrs. Annie Hurst, Muleshoe; and Mrs. E.J. Herron, Dallas, and a number of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers included Charles Sonnamaker, Jerry Ensey, Bud Britton, Lloyd Hindman, Wilburn Ball and Claude Barclay.

Interment was in the Spur cemetery.
