U.S.Flag   Funeral services were held Sunday at 2 p.m. in Lakeside Baptist Church for Jim Kelley, 61. Rev. A. Todd officiated.

Mr. Kelley died in the Veteran's Hospital in Big Springs on January 13 following an illness of about six years. He was a farm laborer. He had been a resident of Dickens County since 1960 and prior to that time was a resident of Kent County. He was a member of the Baptist Church and a veteran of World War II.

He is survived by his wife, Spur; two sons, Jim Kelley, Jr. and John Ray Kelley; six daughters, Helen Ruth, Hattie Marie, Jo Ann, Essie B., Doris Faye and Gloria Levan; four sisters, Flora Stafford, Mary White, Genever Martin and Helorse Edmond.

Interment was in Spur Cemetery.
