Funeral Services Held Tuesday for Gordon M. Jones

Services for Gordon Montague Jones, 61, were held Tuesday afternoon at 3 p.m. in Campbell´s Funeral Chapel.

Robert A. Bankhead, minister Spur Church of Christ, officiated. Interment was in Spur Cemetery.

Born in Aetna, TN, January 29, 1896, Jones came to Texas in 1908, and resided in Cottle County. He moved to Girard in Kent County in 1954.

He is survived by one sister, Mrs. T.A. Barley, Girard, and four nieces and five nephews.

Pallbearers were Dean Young, Richard Westfall, Elmer Long, Arthur Dyer, Ollie Bural and John Gregory.
