Services for Era Belle Jones, 76, were at 10 a.m. June 5, 1991 in the First United Methodist Church in Lubbock with Rev. Jim Nunley officiating.

Graveside services were held at 3 p.m. Wednesday, June 5, 1991, in the Spur Memorial Cemetery. Rev. Jim Nunley officiated.

Mrs. Jones died June 3, 1991 in Methodist Hospital, Lubbock, following a lengthy illness. She was born September 14, 1914 in Spur but more recently had lived in Lubbock since 1959. A homemaker, she served as a teacher´s aide for the Lubbock ISD for 10 years.

She married Dudley Wooten, June 2, 1940. He died in 1952. She then married Jack G. Jones in 1955 in Spur. He died in 1959. She was a member of the Methodist church.

She is survived by a son, Ray Pat Jones, Big Spring; one daughter, Rena Jones, Lubbock; a brother, Carl Pat Hogan, Hereford; two sisters, Peggy Duckworth, Lubbock and Nedra Higginbotham, Hereford; (one sister, Mary Elizabeth Clemmons died in 1972).
