Graveside services for Venita Jane Kitchens Jackson, 87, of Gainesville, were Wednesday, October 15, 1997 at the Spur Memorial Cemetery. Rev. Richard Harbison, First Baptist Church, Spur officiated. Burial was under the direction of Campbell Funeral Home.

Mrs. Jackson died Sunday, October 12, in Wichita Falls.

She was born September 17, 1910 in Tahoka, Texas. She was a homemaker. She had lived the past 36 years in Gainesville. She was a Baptist.

Survivors include three daughters and son-in-laws, June and Jimmy Higgs, Amarillo; Esteele and H.M. Adams, San Antonio; Juanita and Corky Scribner, Wichita Falls; one sister, Hazel Vickery, Spur; three grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
