Funeral services were held on Dec. 31 at the First Methodist Church for Daniel B. Ince, 36 year resident of Dickens County and of Spur, who died Dec. 28. Rev. Cal Wright officiated at the services.Ince was born July 14, 1885 and was 69 years old. He married Mattie Elkins at Santa, TX. in Oct. 1907. He was a member of the Methodist Church.
Pallbearers were Irvin Loe, Dee McArthur, E. F. Shugart, W. P. Shugart, S. C. Reynolds and Charles Scott.
Honorary pallbearers were R. F. Anglin, John King, W. W. Garner, E. L. Caraway, O. W. Young, T. C. Ensey, John Hazelwood, Gene Roberts, L. Cravey, Richard Hudson and Fred Wilkins.
He is survived by his wife, three sons, W. T. of Long Beach, CA, Junior of CA, and Raymond of Amarillo; four daughters, Mrs. L. S. Wilson of Abernathy, Mrs. C. M. Cravy of Lubbock, Mrs. Charles S. Thompson of San Angelo, and Mrs. Clay Woods of Penwell; one sister, Mrs. Bertha McClurge of Sinton; and two brothers, Pete of Sinton and Ben of Hico.
Chandler Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Funeral services for Mrs. Mattie L. Ince, 84, were held Monday at 10:30 a.m. in the First United Methodist Church, Spur, with Rev. William D. McReynolds, pastor of the Methodist Church at Dumas, officiating. Rev. McReynolds is a former pastor here.Mrs. Ince died January 11, at 7:35 a.m. in Highland Hospital, Lubbock. She had been a resident of Dickens County since 1921. She was a member of the Methodist Church.
Survivors include 3 daughters: Mrs. Alva Cravey, Lubbock; Mrs. Lillie Mae Wilson; Abernathy; Mrs. Louise Wood, Odessa; three sons, D.B. Jr., Redonda Beach, CA; W.T., Long Beach, CA; Raymond, San Antonio. Also listed are 27 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren.
Pallbearers included D.J. Dyess, Jim Barron, W.D. Blair, W.F. Gilbert, Joe Harrison and Billy Ray Barrett.
Burial was in the Spur Cemetery.
