Services for Weldon R. Hutto, 77, were at 3 p.m. April 17, 1991 in the First Baptist church with Dr. Genoa Goad, pastor, officiating.

Burial was in Spur Memorial Cemetery under direction of Campbell Funeral Home.

Mrs. Hutto died abut 2 p.m. April 14, 1991 in the Crosbyton Clinic Hospital following a lengthy illness. She was born April 4, 1914 in Waco. She lived in Lubbock for 37 years before moving to Spur in 1978. She worked as a sales clerk for Dunlap´s and Montgomery Ward.

She was the valedictorian of Spur High School in 1932. She was a charter member of the Lubobck Patio Club. She married Truett Hutto on December 24, 1933 in Walters, OK. She was a member of the Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband, Truett Hutto, Spur; two sons, George W. Hutto, Jacksonville, NC; Charles E. Hutto, Sacramento, CA; three brothers, R.J. Bell, Spur; Joe Bell, Odessa and Bill D. Bell, Lubbock; one sister, Winfred Barrett, Lubbock; two grandchildren.

Pallbearers included Frank Hale, Bucky Phelps, Damon Stotts, Vernon Wright, M.C. Hurst, Jack Senning, Bill Gregory and Lloyd Hindman.

Services for Truett Hutto, 85, of Spur will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday, August 1, at the First Baptist Church in Spur. Officiating will be Rev. Richard Harbison, pastor of First Baptist Church, and Rev. Tommy Henderson, pastor of Bethel Baptist Church. Burial will be in the Spur Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Campbell Funeral Home.

Hutto died Tuesday, July 28, at the Crosbyton Clinic Hospital.

Hutto was born October 14, 1911 in Rule, Texas. He graduated from Spur High School in 1931. He returned to Spur in 1978 after retiring from a career as an insurance salesman.

He married Weldon Bell December 24, 1933 in Walters, Oklahoma. She preceded him in death April 14, 1991. He then married May Butler Patterson on October 18, 1992 in Spur. He was a member and past president of the Spur Ex-Student Association. He was also a former member of the Spur Lions Club. He was a Baptist.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, George Hutto and Charles Edward Hutto of Sedona, AZ; one stepson, Leon Patterson of Albuquerque, NM; one stepdaughter, Earlene Cain of Canyon Country, CA; two brothers, Delbert Hutto of Oklahoma City and John Allen Hutto of Cambrian Park, CA; two sisters, Jerri Knowles of Moore, Oklahoma and Jean Owens of Shawnee, OK; one grandchild, eight step grandchildren and six step great grandchildren.
