Funeral services for Ouida Watson Huber, 82, of Breckenridge, will be held on Thursday, May 19 at 10 a.m. at Lakeside Baptist Church. Rev. Keith Henson, officiating. He will be assisted by Rev. Mike Clearman, pastor of the Lakeside Baptist Church.Graveside services will be held at 4 p.m. Thursday at Spur Memorial Cemetery with Rev. Henson officiating. Morehart Mortuary, Breckenridge, is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Huber died May 15 in Abilene.
She was born Ouida Caviness on July 20, 1911 in Mineral Wells. She grew up in Spur and graduated from Spur High School. She attended licensed vocational nurse´s school in Crosbyton. She married Floy Watson in Spur. He died January 16, 1984. She moved to Breckenridge in 1964 from Spur. She worked at Lake County Manor and Villa Haven Nursing Home. She was a member of Lakeside Baptist Church.
Survivors include a daughter and son in law, Zella and Mac McKinney, Abilene; 11 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Dayton Caviness; two sons, Dewey Lee Watson and Charles Watson; a daughter, Glenda Nell Tubbs and a grandson, Mike McKinney.
The family requests that memorials be made to the American Cancer Society or Hospice of Abilene. Memorials may be left at Morehart Mortuary.
