Mrs. Horton Died

Mrs. Minnie Merle Horton of Big Springs, Texas, died Tuesday November 14th, her remains being interred in the Spur Cemetery. Mrs. Horton, her husband and parents were camped at the O.K. Wagon Yard, having been in the country picking cotton, when she contracted pneumonia which caused her death. The illness placed the families in needy condition and approximately one hundred and fifty dollars was made up among the Spur citizenship on the streets, and contributed to their immediate needs.

Spur citizens are ever ready, willing and even anxious to come to the relief of those in need. No town and country has bigger and broader and more generous men than has Spur.
