Funeral services for Leo Clyde Horn, 80, were held Saturday at 3:30 p.m. in the First Baptist Church, with Rev. Darwin Cox, pastor, officiating.Horn died January 24 about 8:30 p.m. in St. Mary´s of the Plains Hospital, Lubbock. He was a farmer and a member of the Baptist Church.
Born in Bownwood on July 1, 1904, he married the former Lena Garland in Frederick, Oklahoma on April 8, 1933. He had been a resident of Dickens County since 1916.
Survivors include his wife, Lena Horn of Spur; one son, Jim Bob Horn, Spur; a daughter, Nelda Boone, Mineral Wells; one brother, H.B. Horn, Dumas; one sister, Merle Brewster, Littlefield and five grandchildren.
Pallbearers included Ronnie White, Pat Copeland, Billy Hale, Delwin Moore, Lloyd Hindman, Hershal Wade. Honorary pallbearers were Wilburn Ball, George Erath, Levi Meador, Joe Latham, Abb Latham.
Burial was in Spur Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Campbell Funeral Home.

Services for Lena Horn, 80, of Spur, were held Sunday, January 15, 1995 in the First Baptist Church at 2 p.m. Church pastor Rev. Genoa Goad officiated.Burial was in Spur Memorial Cemetery under direction of Campbell Funeral Home.
Mrs. Horn was born July 14, 1914 in Palo Pinto County. She had made her home in Dickens County since 1933. She married Leo Clyd Horn in Frederick, Oklahoma on April 8, 1933. He preceded her in death on January 24, 1985.
Mrs. Horn was a homemaker and a Baptist. She was a member of the Bluebonnet Club.
Survivors include one son, Jim Bob Horn, Spur; a daughter, Nelda Boone, Spur; one brother, Eugene Garland, Mineral Wells and a sister, Minnie L. Thornton, also of Mineral Wells; five grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
