Mrs. Olan Horn Died Tuesday
Mrs. Olan Horn, 25, died Tuesday afternoon following a short illness in a local hospital. Mrs. Horn became ill Tuesday morning and was rushed to the sanitarium in a critical condition for treatment. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday afternoon at the First Christian Church with Rev. Chas. E. Wilson of Jayton, pastor of the Assembly of God church delivering the sermon. Interment followed in Spur Cemetery with Bill Kinney in charge.Flower girls were: Virginia Watson, Alba Cozby, Naomi Frnaklin, and Juanita Franklin.
Mrs. Horn was Jewel York before her marriage to Mr. Horn. She was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John York of Red Hill community. She is survived by her husband and two week old baby, Bertie May, and parents and one brother, Willie York and one sister, Lois May York. She was a member of the Assembly of God.
