G.B. Hopkins Died

G.B. Hopkins died Friday of last week at his home in Spur, after an illness of several weeks, his remains being interred Saturday in the Spur cemetery. Mr.Hopkins had been ill and suffering several weeks before his death. He was born in South Carolina in 1868, being 56 years of age. He was a member of the Spur Mutual Life Inurance Association and his policy of one thousand dollars was paid to the family by Mr. Haile immediately following his death.

The Texas Spur joins friends in extending sympathy to the family in this bereavement.

In memory of G.B. Hopkins who died in Spur, Friday, the 11th of July, 1924. Mr. Hopkins was born in South Carolina in 1868, and was 56 years of age at his death. He leaves a wife and a host of friends to mourn his going. May God´s richest blessings rest on us all until God shall call us home.
