U.S.Flag   Services for William Doyle Holloway, 67, of Spur, were at 2 p.m. January 2, 1991 in the Highway 70 Church of Christ with Ernie Bishop, minister, officiating.

Burial was in Spur Memorial Cemetery with Campbell Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Holloway died about 3:17 p.m. on December 30, 1990 in H.C.A. South Arlington Medical Center, following a lengthy illness.

He was born January 27, 1923 in Spur. He spent his early years in Spur and moved back here in 1982 from Fort Worth. He was a cook and in the restaurant business before he retired.

He married Lillian Allene Pullin on January 14, 1945 in San Antonio. She died in April of 1981. He then married Beatrice Moore Rainbolt in Spur in October of 1981. She died in February of 1989.

He was an Army veteran of World War II and a member of the Church of Christ.

Survivors include three daughters, Carolyn Lewis, Ft. Worth; Glenda Steinhilber, Burleson; Darlene Moore, Mansfield; three brothers, Calvin Holloway, Winters; Max Holloway, Alvord and Neal Holloway, Odessa; five sisters, Mozelle Thomas and Lois Lusko, both of Abilene; Frances Veasey, Grapevine; jane Colburn, Quitman and Jean Jones, Alvord; nine grandchildren and one great grandchild.
