Obituary
Services for Beatrice Ophelia Holloway, 62, of Spur, were held at 2 p.m. Friday, February 10, 1989, in the Highway 70 Church of Christ. Ernie Bishop, church minister, officiated.Mrs. Holloway died February 8, in Methodist Hospital, Lubbock, following a lengthy illness. She was born May 12, 1926 in Abilene. She had lived most of her life in Dickens County. She was a retired farmer and beautician.
She first married Lewis Rainbolt on November 6, 1943 in Spur. He died in 1972. She later married Doyle Holloway in Spur on October 16, 1981. She is preceded in death by a son, Charles who died in 1985 and a daughter, Carolyn, in 1984.
She was a member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors include her husband, Doyle Holloway, Spur; one son, Gary Rainbolt, Spur; a daughter, Patricia Baker, Lubbock; three step-daughters, Linda Steinhilber and Carolyn Lewis, both of Fort Worth; Darlene Moore, Mansfield; four brothers, Robert Moore, Possum Kingdom Lake; Hilton and John Moore, both of Spur; Roy Moore, Lubbock; five sisters, Gladys Lee, Dickens; Hazel Elliott, Idalou; Shirley Lingerfelt, Miami, Florida; Sue Roman, Austin; Betty Boyd, Breckenridge; her mother, Mrs. T.D. Moore, Spur; 15 grandchildren.
Burial was in Spur Memorial Cemetery with Campbell Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
