Services for Inez Hicks, 52, of Spur were at 1 p.m. Saturday, April 4, 1998 at the Lakeside Baptist Church. Rev. Wilson Perry officiated. Burial was in the Spur Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Campbell Funeral Home.
She died Tuesday, March 31, 1998, at her home in Spur. She lived in Spur most of her life. She was a homemaker and a member of the Herons of Jericho.
Survivors include a son, Nathan of Spur; a daughter, Janet Peterson of Houston; her mother, Geraldine Thompson of Spur; eight brothers, Jimmy Nelms of Lansing, Kan., Floyd Nicholson and James Davis, both of Phoenix, Ariz., Burgie Davis and Jackie Thompson, both of Dallas, Larry Morrison of Lamesa, Paul Bethany of Killeen and Kareem Lateef of Lubbock; seven sisters, Jo Ann Bethany of Killeen, Cynthia Lateef of Lubbock, Archie Coleman, Florence Nicholson, Helen Davis and Larue Nicholson, all of Phoenix, and Rosa Lee Hicks of Fort Worth; and two grandchildren.
