The death of Mrs. Duke Henson, which occurred Monday afternoon at her home in Spur, came as a shock to the friends and acquaintances of the family.

Several weeks ago Mrs. Henson underwent an operation at Standifer Hospital, being later removed in a convalescing condition to her home where it was thought she would soon regain her former good health.

However, her condition again became critical a few days ago and death was the result.

The remains were interred Tuesday afternoon in the Spur Cemetery, funeral services being conducted at the home by Rev. Berryman and attended by many friends.

The Texas Spur extends sympathy to the bereaved husband and little child.
