Funeral services were held Monday morning at 11 for John Wylie Henry, 41, retired insurance agent. Officiating at the service was Rev. Charles Gates, pastor of the First United Methodist Church.

Mr. Henry died Jan. 20. He had made his home in Spur since 1928. He was a member of the Methodist church. He was preceded in death by his wife who died in 1968.

Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Bonnie Jordon, Dallas; three brothers, E.C. Henry, Mullins; Ned B. Henry, Ft. Worth and Hubert Henry, Littlefield; two sisters, Miss Lucille Henry, Killeen and Miss Corinna Henry, Kermit.

Three grandchildren also survive.

Burial was in Spur Cemetery.
