Graveside services were held March 8, at 4 p.m. in Spur Memorial Cemetery for Kenneth Lee Hendricks, 55, of Spur.

Rev. Clifford Mayo, pastor of the Nazarene Church in Dickens officiated.

Hendricks was declared dead on arrival at Crosbyton Hospital, March 4, about 4:10 p.m. He was born in Jasper County, Missouri and had lived in Dickens County for the past 10 years. He was a truck driver.

He married Christy Mettert on February 28, 1972 in Mexico and on August 21, 1982 in Texas. He was a member of the Church of the Nazarene.

He is survived by his wife, Christy Hendricks, Spur; one son, Charles Hendricks, Hutchinson, Kansas; three daughters, Katherine, Tonya and Helen, all of Hutchinson, Kansas; one daughter, Juanita, preceded him in death; four brothers and three sisters and two grandchildren.

Campbell Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
