Travis Henderson

Travis Ray Henderson, 38, of Lubbock died Thursday, September 28, 2006. Services were 2PM, Monday, October 2, 2006 at Bethel Baptist Church in Spur with his father, Rev. Tommy Henderson officiating. Burial was in Spur Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Campbell Funeral Home.

Travis was born April 10, 1968 in Crosbyton to Tommy and Ruby Gatlin Henderson. He graduated from Spur High School in 1986. He was employed by South Plains Community Action. He was an accomplished martial artist with a black belt in Tai Kwon Do. Travis was a rockhound, nature lover and loved animals. He was a Baptist and loved his country and his God.

Travis is survived by his parents, Tommy and Ruby Henderson of Spur; one sister, Stacey Henderson of Ballinger; one niece, Brandy Pyburn of Ballinger and his roommate and friend Jamie Herring of Lubbock.
