Funeral services for Mrs. Lena Havins, 84, will be held today at 2 p.m. in the First Baptist Church, with church pastor, Rev. Norris Taylor officiating.

Mrs. Havins died April 3 in a Lubbock Hospital. She had resided in Kent County from 1902 to 1947 and moved to Dickens County at that time. She had lived in Spur since 1973.

She was a member of the Baptist Church. Her husband died in 1974.

She is survived by one son, Troy Havins, Brownfield; two daughters, Mrs. Edwin Floor, Amarillo; and Mrs. Wayne Bateman, Houston; a brother, Tom Hunnicutt, Girard, nine grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will include John Stokes, Gordon Hamilton, Johnny Hamilton, Cecil Perry, W.L. Brendle and R.W. Howard.

Burial will be in the Spur Cemetery.
