Harvey Harrison U.S.Flag   Services for Harvey Ellis Harrison, 72, Lubbock, were at 2 p.m. Thursday, December 26, 1996 at the First Baptist Church of Spur. Officiating was Reverend Norris Taylor, Idalou, and Reverend Richard Harbison, Spur. Burial was in Spur Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Campbell Funeral Home.

Harrison died Monday, December 23, 1996 at Methodist Hospital, Lubbock.

He was born in Kent County on September 8, 1924. He was a U.S. Army World War II Veteran. He had lived in Lubbock since 1953. He married Imogene Childress on August 22, 1949 in Wolfforth. He was a carpenter and a steam mechanic for the City of Lubbock for over 27 years. He was a Baptist.

Survivors include his wife, Imogene Harrison, Lubbock; two daughters, Linda Kay and Charles McClure of Shallowater; Debra and Ellis Grimes, Houston; two sisters, Lilabell Hale, Spur and Dorothy Noguess, Bridge City; and five grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Ronnie White, Jim White, Billy Hale, Gary Jones, David Jones and Max Haney. Honorary pallbearers were Lawson McWilliams, Orville White, Glenn Jones and Charles Gibson.
