Funeral services for Dan Harrison, 54, a Spur carpenter and painter, were held May 14 at 3 p.m. in the First Baptist Church. Church pastor Rev. Norris Taylor officiated, assisted by Rev. O.J. Bewley of the Bethel Baptist Church.

Mr. Harrison was dead upon arrival at Crosbyton Hospital May 12. He had lived the early part of his life in Kent County. He moved to Spur in 1954 and married Juanita Jackson in July of 1972. He was a member of the Bethel Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Juanita (Sis) Harrison, Spur; two sons, Pat Harrison, Montana and Moody Harrison, Washington; a step daughter, Katrina Potts, Nocona; one brother, Harvey Harrison, Lubbock; four sisters, Jettie Hudgins, Washington; Dorothy Noguess, Bridge city; and Lila Hale and Amy White, both of Spur.

Newphews served as pallbearers.

Burial was in Spur Cemetery.
