Obituary

SPUR (Special) Services for Alice Palma Hale, 73, of Spur will be at 2 p.m. Friday at First Baptist Church with the Rev. Richard Harbison officiating.

Burial will be in Spur Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Campbell Funeral Home.

She died Tuesday, Jan. 18, 2000, in Crosbyton.

She was born Feb. 7, 1926, in Spur. She married Frank Hale Jr. on Nov. 21, 1942, in Spur. She lived most of her life in Dickens County. She was a homemaker and a member of the Ladies Auxiliary and First Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband; a son, Frankie Don of Tulsa, Okla.; two sisters, Evelyn Clifton of Spur and Jean Coker of Heavener, Okla.; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

HALE, Frank Jr.

Frank H. Hale, Jr. 83, of Spur died Tuesday, August 28, 2007 at his residence. A private service will be held at a later date.

Frank was born March 5, 1924 in Girard to the late Frank H. and Cecile Richards Hale, Sr. He married Alice Barclay in Dickens County in 1942. She preceded him in death January 18, 2000. He was a WWII Veteran having served in the Army Air Force from 1943 to 1945. He later owned and operated Hale Gulf Service Station in Spur for manyyears.

Frank is survived by one son, Frankie Don Hale of Spur; two sisters, Jerrie Merman of Acuff, TX and

Faye Murphy of Plainview, TX three grandsons and four Great-granddaughters.

He was also preced in death by his parents; two borthers and one sister.
