Billy HahnBilly C. Hahn, 89, of Haskell died Tuesday, September 22 in Abilene. Services will be 2PM, Friday, September 25 at First Baptist Church in Spur. Interment will be in Spur Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Campbell Funeral Home, Spur, TX.

Billy was born September 11, 1920 in Swenson, TX to James and Addie Craft Hahn. He was a 1938 graduate of Spur High School and received his Masters Degree from Eastern New Mexico Univ. He was a US Army Veteran, having served in WWII. He married Cleo Denson July 7, 1945 in Spur. Billy coached at Spur ISD from 1947 to 1956. They moved to Post where he coached and served as Principal in the school system until his retirement in 1978. He was a Mason and a member of the Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two sons, Alvin and Bill Hahn, Jr.; two sisters and three brothers.

Billy is survived by his wife, Cleo of Haskell; one daughter, Barbara Stevens and husband Dewey of Arlington; four grandchildren, Michael Williams of Arlington, Steven Williams of Frisco, Angelia and Kimberly Hahn both of San Antonio; five great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. The family suggests memorials to Spur Athletic Booster Club, P.O. Box 250, Spur, TX 79370.
