Memorial services for Clyde Wayne Gregory, 57, of Alpine were held on Friday, January 31, 2003 at 5:00 p.m. at cemetery chapel in Holy Angles Cemetery with the Rev. Walter Esch officiating. Burial was on Saturday, February 1, 2003 at 3:00 p.m. in Spur under the direction of Geeslin Funeral Home of Alpine.

Mr. Gregory was born on June 23, 1945 to Clyde and Ada Mae Gregory in Spur where he grew up. Clyde entered the United States Army in June 1965 and was honorably discharged in September 1971. He had been a resident of Alpine since 1970 and had dedicated most of his career to telecommunications.

He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, and a sister, Norma Gregory.

Survivors include his four daughters, Nocona Apolinar and her husband, Frank, of Midland, Rebecca Gill and her husband, Eddie, of Terlton, Oklahoma, Patricia Guthrie and her husband, William, of Sand Springs, Oklahoma, and Alishia Richardson of Sand Springs, Oklahoma; a sister, Barbara Cheyne of Crosbyton; and seven grandchildren.
